    Pros: The ability to use the software as come fairly easy to all ages of our staff and parents. its very user friendly, simplistic and straight forward as to the information your looking to post as well as the information as a parent you may want to see.

    Cons: I wish we had the ability to post photos in to messages to parents. This would be helpful to tell the story when sending messages.
    On that note the uploading of pictures in the incident report area seem to run slow, which isn't idea when your notifying parents of an injury.
    At the end of the school year we aren't able to extrapolate photos by child, year or class. This would be helpful when creating class yearbooks, graduation slide shows etc.

    Overall: I have enjoyed using Procare for the past year. I think it's a super easy. platform to implement and train new staff on.

    Cons: Limited ability to write off or charge off parent accounts in the online version

    Changing bank account details for tuition deposits requires backend support and takes 48+ hours

    Overall: Procare has been a huge help for our childcare center. It simplifies daily operations—attendance, billing, and parent communication are all in one place. The system is user-friendly, and their support team is responsive whenever we need help.

    One area I’d love to see improved is the ability to handle account adjustments more easily. Having better options to write off or charge off parent accounts directly in the online version would save a lot of time. I also wish I could update which bank account tuition payments go to without having to call and wait for the backend team to process the change (which usually takes 48+ hours).

    Overall, Procare is reliable and saves us time, but adding these features would make it even better for childcare centers.

    Pros: I love the parent/teacher messaging feature. It is nice that there is two-way communication between families and the center. It is also nice that all teachers in the classroom have access the the discussion. Sometimes a parent will in passing share important information about pick-up. We ask that they post that information in Procare messaging so that all teachers and administration will see the message.

    Cons: I don't like when Procare goes down. Sometimes the app is not working. And we have implemented a plan for when that happens. I would also like more options in the newsletter feature.
    I know that the software does SOOOOOO much more than how I am using it. I need to take a training on using the software.

    Overall: I am very pleased with Procare. I like the reports it provides. When having to quickly check on allergies, I can print out a report for the whole center. We have found a few glitches between the desktop and online/app version. We are trying to figure out how to solve those glitches right now.

    Pros: Procare helps keep our childcare facility running. We are able to have all of our families information, staff information, and invoices/tuition in one place. We are also able to record our days including attendance, meals, naps, and diaper changes. The parent portal allows us to share this information with families as well as having an easy way to contact families.

    Cons: There are a lot features (which is great), however this requires a lot of time to dive into each feature that is available and how to set it up/use.

    Overall: Procare has been great for everything we need. Any of the day to day stuff that we need documentation of, we are able to record through Procare and access the information at any point. There are so many features to help keep things running smoothly throughout our childcare.

    Pros: I love the functions, the syncing to the parent engagement app, and the customer service is Chik-fil-A adjacent!

    Cons: On the parent side, if a parent has students at more than one campus (like we have) under the same parent company I think the sign in pins should be the same for the person regardless of which campus they are at.

    Overall: I really enjoy Procare. There are so many valuable functions. It might be a little difficult to find exactly what you are looking for, but customer service is great for getting help.
