About SnugFit O&P 3D Scanner

The SnugFit O&P 3D Scanner app, developed through the support of the National Institutes of Health, instantly captures 3D data of the body part (FO, AFO, knee, torso, and head) for prescription made orthotics or prosthetics. The 3D body scanner app does not need an external structured light sensor. Instead, it uses an iPhone or iPad's front facing TrueDepth sensor for 3D acquisition. It is easy to use with features including, for example, initial scan positioning indicator, no losing track, free of manual noise cleaning process, better data handling for iPhone 13/14, and one click to upload the scan data and prescription to the cloud for calculating 3D dimensions and using the CAD/CAM tools for orthotics and prosthetics custom design and manufacturing. SnugFit O&P is built on our highly ranked SureScan 3D Scanner app, but with more advanced 3D/AI algorithms for better noisy data handling, even more ease of use, and further 3D accuracy improvement etc.

    "Instant and accurate 3D result"

    Pros: Very easy to use, intuitive, accurate 3D data. I use this app for body scans including foot, knee scans.

    Cons: This software requires sign up. I understand that this is more for data security.

    Overall: Truly the best 3D body scanner app I found. I tried many apps, some claimed to be the best, but this one is an eye-opener.
