    I landed on this MR while working on Peter Lawrence's 1kB DFU bootloader. While working on it, I had to re-read the DFU specification several times, trying to understand what is the "correct" behavior. My understanding is that while in DFU mode, all devices (regardless of the bitManifestationTolerant or bitWillDetach bits) should reboot into the application when given a USB reset signal.
