DonorPerfect Fundraising Growth Platform

Pros: I have been using DonorPerfect for 5 years. They really listen to their customer and make improvements that make sense. Also, I am able to create a variety of reports very easily to help my boss know who has and hasn't given this year in comparison to past years.

Cons: That I don't know how to use all the tools to my advantage. Thankfully, Donor Perfect has a videos on almost anything you can imagine to explain how to use their tools.

Overall: Always user friendly and if I have a question that I can't find the answer, I can call and speak to a very helpful DonorPerfect employee.

Pros: I love that we can upload a photo of our donors to their record! Along with the ability to breakdown contacts for a particular campaign by steps taken with each meeting ( for example: presented campaign materials in virtual meeting, showed campaign video, etc) along with corresponding notes as to what materials they were sent, what suggestions they had, their photo ensures that we'll be easily able to remember them when they next visit our facility!

Cons: I wish the photo option allowed for a bigger display so it was easier to view. It would be nice to allow more than one photo, to store for social media purposes with the donor's permission, for testimonials.

Overall: DonorPerfect continually makes updates to allow us to improve our donor retention through better donor communications and records.

Pros: DonorPerfect is very easy to navigate due to its simplicity. It makes donation entries and donation tracking very easy. The DonorPerfect support team is very responsive and helpful.

Cons: The reporting features can be improved to be more user friendly.

Overall: Overall, I recommend DonorPerfect to any small to mid size not for profit companies. It is easy to use and does not require training to navigate.

Pros: Their customer service is THE BEST I've ever encountered! They respond in a timely manner, know what they're doing, and send you an email with the step by step instructions on what they walked you through.

Cons: There honestly isn't anything that I don't like about DonorPerfect.

Overall: I've been using this software for years, and I'm quite happy with it. It allows us to track our donors (and there are LOTS of things you can track), balance with our accounting department, and run vital reports for the agency.

Pros: Donor information is easily accessible. Gifts are easy to put in and easy to track. DP customer service is great - they are ready to help and guide you through questions.

Cons: If you are looking for something and one letter is mispelled it shows no results.

Overall: Overall it is a great tool for fundraising and donor data. You can create spreadsheets for local, regional, and national donor to help direct your fundraising efforts.

Pros: DonorPerfect is, well, perfect for our organization. The interface is so user friendly and has so many options for customization. The reporting tool is helpful and easy to learn. If you are struggling, DP has an incredible chat feature where you are actually chatting with a real person. Their assistants are knowledgable and friendly, regardless of what level of help you need. I'm always really impressed by how DP works to make helpful changes. They welcome suggestions that can continue to improve their product.

Cons: Reporting can be a bear at the beginning. I would highly recommend taking any and all training/video resources you can on how to create reports. It will save you a ton of time in the long-run. I often find myself doing a lot of extra edits outside of DP when I export the reports to Excel. To avoid this, chatting with a representative or taking more video trainings would help!

Overall: Our organization is so pleased with DonorPerfect. It is a well-developed and thoughtful program. Their integrations with other programs can also be helpful depending on your need.

Pros: The support team is incredibly responsive to both call and text, even during peak work hours and during the pandemic. The reports are also very versatile, and we always get all the information we need. The ability to track everything from campaigns to sub-solicitors is very useful to help produce marketing data. The knowledge base also covers everything I've had questions on.

Cons: Minor bugs, but those get fixed just shortly after I notice them. If I were to nitpick I could say some things could be more aesthetically pleasing.

Overall: The overall experience has been incredibly positive. I am not quite sure how we would keep track of our donations had it not been for DP. Favorite part is definitely the support team, least favorite is that sometimes the receipting can get confusing.

Pros: I could easily list out dozens and dozens of pros for DonorPerfect. It is very intuitive to use and very clean. The program has a wealth of options for use, from data entry to contact tracking to online giving and event planning. It can be accessed on a desktop, on mobile, and through an app, making for access anywhere.

Cons: The very minimal con I can think of is that reporting takes some practice to understand and operate at best capacity, but the training they provide is excellent in helping you learn and understand.

Overall: My organization has been using DonorPerfect for 3 years now and I cannot say enough positive things about the program. It is very easy to understand and to use, even for novice users, but can be used to produce the most intricate, detailed reports. The DP support is nothing but helpful, no matter your situation. They help you to understand what the problem is and how to resolve it so you know for future use. Having online giving and forms included in the system makes for such a seamless online giving program. DonorPerfect is constantly making updates and changes, often times taking suggestions directly from users, and editing to make the program as useful as possible. I can't say enough about our great experience over the last 3 years.

Pros: DonorPerfect is extremely simple to use. There is easily accessible tech support, tutorials and an online community that can help answer questions.

Cons: Some reports have too much information whereas others do not have enough. The compound filters can get a little tricky.

Overall: Overall, I think this is wonderful software. As someone who is newer to the non-profit world, I was able to pick up DonorPerfect with ease. I feel fully supported when I have questions and feel empowered to engage with my constituents based on the data in DonorPerfect. I would highly recommend any non-profit to consider donor perfect for all their fund raising and data basing needs.

Pros: We are a small non-profit. DonorPerfect has been a great platform to leverage our limited personnel support to achieve maximum impact for our donors. The integrations with 3rd parties, and a la carte packaging, have allowed us to customize and tailor to our specific needs.

Cons: It can take awhile to master all of the various components within DonorPerfect, but the support has been excellent and enabled us to get it done.

Overall: We're so glad we made the move to bring in DonorPerfect. We saw positive results with our donor pool almost immediately.

Pros: I found DonorPerfect to be very clear and easy to use. I was able to find what I needed without having to search too hard for it.

Cons: It took a long time to load and sometimes it would stop loading.

Overall: I really appreciated the clarity and the color coordinated charts and graphs. If some of the technical stuff can be improved it would make the experience even better.

Pros: The software is well designed, user friendly, and easy to add data. The webinars have been great too

Cons: I cannot think of anything I do NOT like. The team has made it easy to learn.

Overall: Tech support and chat support are very helpful and available! I would not consider changing sources.

Overall: Overall an amazing experience significantly improved our record keeping, reporting, and tax receipt process.

Pros: Donor Perfect allows for the collection of donor contact information, easy entries, and data reports. The site is user-friendly. Our small organization uses minimal sections of what is offered. A large organization could utilize aspects of the product to grow their donor base, organize campaigns, and evaluate the effectiveness of planning.

Cons: As the site grows, changes are made which require contacting representatives to understand formulas. Representatives are professional and helpful. Donor Perfect does not import all of the data from outside credit processors.

Overall: I have limited contact with Donor Perfect Representatives because the site is easy to use. I complete my tasks quickly. Yearly tax letters take very little time to send by email and/or printed mail.

Pros: The ease of the software. I started in this company about two months ago as a recent graduate. No experience with fundraising at all, but I learned this software in about an hour. It was so easy to use. The reports are my favorite, they're extremely useful to find specific information that is necessary.

Cons: I wish there were a sum of dollars option for an entire report. Adding all the dollars from different donors in one report to find out how much money was raised for a certain campaign.

Overall: This software is a great tool for small nonprofits like us. It is exceptional software that makes my job as a fundraising coordinator much easier. Organization helps me a lot.

Pros: DonorPerfect is the easiest donor software I have ever worked with. I've been a fundraiser for almost 15 years and have worked with multiple fundraising and CRM platforms and I love DonorPerfect the most, hands down. Reports are easy to create and the system gives you exactly what you need to see in order to get your work done. Their support staff are always available and happy to help, whether it's a quick fix or a full walk-through of how to create a report - they are knowledgeable and friendly.

Cons: I am relatively new to using DonorPerfect, but I honestly haven't found anything negative about this software. It helps me do my work and communicate with our donors, it keeps clean and easy records of their gifts and our contacts with them, and it's not too much. I've worked with software before that simply had too many options and filters to be user-friendly. DonorPerfect is just right.

Overall: My experience with DonorPerfect has been nothing less than stellar. I appreciate the updates from them, their accessibility, their appreciation for users' comments and suggestions, and their constant strive to adjust and improve.

Pros: DonorPerfect is the REAL DEAL. Real people giving real help to those raising funds for real needs/issues. Their support is quick and direct. DPO takes real suggestions for real users of their program to implement real solutions!

Cons: Really nothing I can think of! If I've had problems, there has always been someone to help. The community of users is also helpful; not just the support staff.

Overall: My overall experience has been positive in every way.

Pros: It makes donor management easy. It improves our fundraising effectiveness by allowing us to quickly see who has contributed and who we need to engage better.

Cons: Integration with QuickBooks online can be improved in order to defer revenue more easily and track pledge payments.

Overall: This service allows us to easily receipt donors with effective thank you templates.

Pros: Very robust CMS for donors, volunteers etc. Adaptable and customizable screens and reporting functions.

Cons: Nothing. It’s everything we need and then some. Pricing maybe could be more flexible.

Overall: Truly couldn’t be happier and would recommend to any organization looking for more flexibility and accountability in donor management!
