Cons: -Sometimes reports can be confusing to pull and it takes a few tries to get it right

Overall: We moved from a different system over to Donor Perfect. The other system was complicated, hard to read and tax receipting was really difficult. On Donor Perfect we have been able to improve our Tax Receipting and improve our donor experience.

Pros: Flexible, fast, powerful, ready to go out of the box while still being extraordinarily customizable, easy to use, relatively inexpensive, and expandable to sync with P2P platforms

Cons: The duplicate record removal tool could be easier to use, but that's about it.

Overall: Wonderful! Customer support is quick and helpful, the platform meets all our needs, and the price is right.

Pros: We have been associated with 4 non-profits over the last 30 years. Donor Perfect by FAR has been the best vehicle for us to manage our donor base. With one click, we can see up to date recording of donations that have been received. The donor information is also readily available for contact reference and ease of updating donor information. Using Donor Perfect, especially in times of sending out postcards and letters, makes the administrative task of collecting data a breeze.

Cons: There is nothing about Donor Perfect that I don't like.

Overall: Using Donor Perfect has enhanced our ministry and ability to stay current with our financial base of donors.

Pros: Customer service with human beings. My first experience with DonorPerfect was in a one-person shop and I needed the customer service portion of the platform to help me use the database appropriately with limited time for the learning curve. I convinced my CFO to purchase the subscription telling him that it was the best employee in the agency--available 24/7, 365 days without time wasted in the break room. When I needed to access the program, even with questions outside of customer service hours, the Help function was specific and accurate to help navigate a database need.

Cons: On-boarding process, while comprehensive and responsive, is a bit overwhelming. Lots of information and emails; too many for my preference, but for others it might be ideal.

Overall: DonorPerfect has multiple package options so that just about any sized agency can access its services and platform without breaking the bank. In fact, it's that point that makes DonorPerfect a superior option to recommend--versatile packages so the excuses for not having a donordata base become extinct.

Pros: We looked at many systems - and found DonorPerfect to be the most comprehensive - especially the integration with Constant Contact and ReadySetAuction.

Cons: We don't have any significant cons. ReadySetAuction is a bit clunky - but the integration with DonorPerfect is fabulous and we have learned to use it and love it.

Overall: The system is fabulous. It is so easy to use. The support is amazing as well.

Pros: “Customer Support and Training has been the best feature of using DonorPerfect for our staff. We have learned a lot from the webinars available and whenever we call support for a certain problem, the staff are always very knowledgeable, professional and patient.”

Cons: Not many cons to speak of about this product. If we had to choose one it would be a stronger volunteer management competent since we are a nonprofit that relies heavily on volunteers.

Overall: Overall all a great product I would highly recommend.

Pros: Batch entry 2.0 , online giving and auto giving make donation entry easy.

Reporting is great and easy to customize.

Cons: Year end giving is missing a function to save all YE giving emails in a PDF.

Overall: Excellent! Support and training is very good. I would recommend.

Pros: Well designed. Easy to use user interface without having to know coding. Customer support are top-line professionals and excellent trainers.

Cons: To many different pieces to purchase to get full effect of what this CRM has to offer

Overall: Great product for the money! Very easy to work with!

Cons: You have to spell a name exactly as it was entered to pull up the record

Overall: I researched a number of options when building the first fundraising program for my new company, and am glad I went with Donor Perfect. It has everything I need and more! My boss is impressed that I can answer any funding or donor questions so quickly...it's my superpower!

Pros: I have used DonorPerfect at two organizations and have been very happy! Having a 14 year old database program at my previous organization, my job was to research and find a new program for us. I looked at everything and decided on DonorPerfect. It wasn't the Cadillac (we couldn't afford) or the Yugo (we needed more power), but it was "just right"! When I moved to my new position in a new organization, there was no database - everything had been tallied on separate spreadsheets. The decision was easy and we purchased DonorPerfect. We haven't looked back!

Cons: We love everything from easy of use to detailed reports.

Overall: How many ways can we say happy??? I have found it easy to use and train others to use. I love the reports.

Pros: The best part about this software is its custom reporting capability. Also great customer service.

Cons: Donor profiles can get a little complicated, especially when taking spouse, title, office and forms of address into consideration. We have had to get creative in how we structure the profiles, as there are not spaces for all of this information, to make sure we can pull the appropriate information for our needs.

Overall: I'm newer to this software, but it is pretty intuitive.

Pros: I like the mobile app and the ability to look up donors when out of the office for a meeting. I like the payment processing that has seen much improvement in response to comments - Donor Perfect seems to take the comments seriously and improve their database product

Cons: The reports are harder to pull than I thought they would be - it seems like they could be a little more intuitive. We have a great person who can work the reports like a charm, so that is not a big negative for us

Overall: Donor Perfect has been such a good product overall. For a medium sized non profit shop it is a great fit

Pros: Extremely easy to use. The donor reports can provide almost anything that you may need to see!

Cons: We sometimes get logged out automatically when too many people are online at once.

It would be great if Donor Perfect could integrate with QuickBooks Desktop.

Overall: I am very happy with Donor Perfect. This program is better than the other programs I have used in the past. I do however, recommend integrating it with QB Online in order to streamline the bookkeeping process.

Cons: System will log you out for seemingly no reason
Often pushed to purchase/add on other DP related software.

Overall: I used Raiser'sEdge for over 5 years at my last job - I hope to never have to use it again. Using DP compared to RE is like night and day. DP is so much more intuitive and user friendly.

Pros: Easily converted our old antiquated system into theirs. The transition was seamless and the staff were beyond helpful. The software allows us to analyze and track all of our constituents and create donation pages.

Cons: Upcharge to have access to phone assistance. Its a long tedious process for training however training is an all year thing, for new employees who do know Donor perfect, they would be able to use the free trainings to understand it.

Overall: Best thing our organization did. We are able to run reports quicker, and clean up the software as well. Also create donation pages.

Pros: Excellent customer service & trouble-shooting to solve your unique problems
Ease of use- If you only know "#" as a pound sign, you'll be able to navigate this software

Reliable Reporting

Cons: Cost- It's high, but it's the best. I wish I could start every baby nonprofit I work with on DonorPerfect so they can learn the best practices of fundraising reporting.

Overall: DonorPerfect is great. If you want the best program, seriously consider DP. My only complaint is that I cannot recommend Donor Perfect to the nonprofits who are just launching their giving programs. As soon as a nonprofit can afford DonorPerfect, I recommend them switching.

Pros: DonorPerfect has made our normal weekly, monthly, and yearly accounting task so much more simple. From recording donations to end of year receipting.... DonorPerfect has helped us every step of the way!

Cons: Donors are unable to update their own contact/giving information. It has to be manually changed by the administrator.

Overall: Great overall experience! We have been happy for this software for nearly 5 years!

Pros: I like that the options for gift entry are very comprehensive in terms of types of gifts: in-kind gifts, matching gifts, soft credits, split gifts, etc. The main profiles also have lots of detailed modules that can store a variety of important information. I also like the pre-made reports in DP because there are useful reports that I would never think to make myself, or think I need. The chat and phone support people are great as well.

Cons: There are some features I'd like to see implemented, such as the ability to open up two profile screens at the same time for comparison (useful for determining duplicates). It would also be nice to edit the pre-made DP reports instead of having to rebuild it from scratch myself if I want to change the format. Some processes can also be streamlined to reduce the time and effort necessary for multiple clicks. For example, the ability to merge duplicate general ledger or solicitation codes, or the ability to receive email notifications for all donations that come in online.

Overall: I recommend it for small and medium size nonprofits because it is affordable and easy to learn.

Pros: DonorPerfect Online is extremely easy to use out of the box and to apply extensive customizations without a lot of database or programming knowledge. Very user friendly and easy to implement. Their commitment to their customers and customer service is excellent and their annual user conference is a great opportunity for professional development and networking.

Cons: Some of the more advanced features like enhanced dashboards and reporting tools come with additional costs. If your database exceeds 5,000 constituent/donor records, they charge a premium for each additional 2,000 records. If you represent a large or medium sized nonprofit organization, or if you're a power user who needs advanced reporting capabilities, DonorPerfect Online may not be the right solution for you.

Overall: I would recommend DonorPerfect Online to any small nonprofit who wants to get up and running quickly with a donor database that's easy to use and customize without the need for advanced technical skills.

Pros: Has everything we need as far as functions go. I like that they continue to improve this platform, and that they consider user suggestions.

Cons: Just a few functions I feel could be a little smoother, allowing me to have to click between screens less often. (Would love to be able to click on a button to take me directly to the contact screen from the search results!)

Overall: My overall experience with DonorPerfect has been great. Any issues I've had, I've been able to get resolved quickly and professionally through their very responsive support team.
