DonorPerfect Fundraising Growth Platform

Pros: I find that donor perfect makes it easy to track and sort different types of donations received. When asked for the amount of funding received in a specific area it is easy to prepare a report and provide to the Board. The merge segment of the program makes if easy to get thank you letters out to our donors to say thank you. At the end of the calendar year the steps to provide an end of the year report are easy to follow and provides the data needed for the Board and our funding resource reports.

Cons: It took a while for me to catch onto how donor perfect operates. I think I need a class. I have been able, with the help of the former Director, figure out most things.

Overall: Overall I feel its a great tool for non-profits. It allows you to track and organize funding sources by projects and by types. By types meaning from business, churches, clubs or individuals. As well as credit card, cash or check.

Pros: Versatile and powerful. It is a near-perfect blend of standardized features and room for customization. What really shines is customer support. The DonorPerfect team truly becomes part of your organization's team.

Cons: It is expensive - I don't like that, but compared to others it is admittedly a great deal. For our smaller affiliates, I wish they can come up with a "bargain basement" entry -evel pricing - but there is no denying, for the cost it does many great things. Plus, it is so versatile that it takes a while to learn everything. That is why customer support is so valuable.

Overall: I often tell my staff, if you can think of it, it probably can be done. The DonorPerfect staff emphasizes writing out in plain English what you are trying to accomplish. Being able to articulate the desire suggests that the logic is there, and DonorPerfect can likely do it for you quickly. I can't say enough about the wonderful staff that supports the product.

Pros: The database is easily manipulated to give you exactly the information you want in a report format. Support is always extremely responsive when you have any issues generating reports.

Cons: There is a learning curve, but that is overcome with frequency of use.

Overall: I have used Donor for many years. When another non-profit was looking for a solution to their record-keeping and reporting issues, I recommended Donor for transparency and ease of use. Both organizations are extremely pleased with their decision to invest in Donor Perfect.

Pros: Everything worked within itself and easily interconnected.
Easy to learn and teach.

Cons: Seems meant for a larger organization with a staff member who focuses solely on donations and donors.

Overall: Gave us the knowledge base to expand and grown in terms of donor relations.

Pros: Customer service is outstanding. Rarely have to wait long and always get competent and correct answers. I think DP was a little late in becoming more visually attractive (form features) but its reporting has always been excellent, its ease of use has improved immensely and I want always to stay with it because one gets answers so easily by phone.

Cons: Form design not sleek or fancy. Nothing else.

Overall: Wonderful, I love using Donor Perfect. They are very very helpful

Pros: I have been a happy customer using the platform for nearly 10 years. I worked in a Pennsylvania nonprofit and now an Oregon nonprofit. I brought it to both organizations and have been very satisfied with platform and the support over the years.

Cons: The only real con that we've experienced is linking it to Quickbooks. We know it can be done but we just haven't managed to work out that link.

Overall: My overall experience with Donor Perfect is exceptional. It's a safe, reliable and user-friendly platform for managing our donors and our members.

Pros: Tons of versatility. Can pull any kind of information you can think to ask for. There are templates for a million different kinds of reports.
Can be used by my small office, or a huge organization.

Cons: Tough learning curve. It took awhile to get comfortable with the software.

Overall: Donor Perfect can do anything you can imagine, and if you don't know how, their technical support staff is excellent, and their webinars are great.
I work at a small nonprofit and I do everything with DP, from guest lists to financial reports, from Thank you letters to a Donor Recognition report for the newsletter. I have yet to need something this software can't do.

Pros: It's very user friendly, easy to customize the system and run reports

Cons: The event management tool is not as easy to use. I'll spend more time learning

Overall: It's been a great experience overall. Started using the system in 2016

Pros: The screens are fairly easy to customize.
The mobile app is used easily by fundraisers in the field.
The DonorPerfect team handled the transfer from our old donor database; they made it simple.

Cons: Prices add up for extra features. But we found a package that works well - we made compromises.

Overall: It has been delightful to be the administrator of our data base using Donor Perfect! Any time a co-worker wants a particular report or change in the system usage, I can provide it.

Pros: We like the ease of searching the data base, gift processing and reporting.

Cons: Some of the reports do not meet our needs but we overcame that issue with the Easy Reports.

Overall: The Donor Perfect support team has been exceptional in addressing and answering our questions. The training and "How To" tips they provide are very helpful!

Pros: Customer service is always available when needed. I often need help with getting a customized report and the staff are patient and clear in explaining what I need to do or they write it for me.

Cons: I don't have any complaints. I never hesitate to call as I know I will get the service I need.

Overall: Very pleasant. Quick and complete service. My questions are answered the first time.

Pros: DonorPerfect is a well designed donor management system with a phenomenal team of support staff. Whenever any issues come up, they are extremely quick to help troubleshoot. I've recommended them a number of times.

Cons: The Constant Contact integration could be a little more intuitive and their online forms lack some advanced design elements.

Overall: I'm glad we're using DonorPerfect and I have no intentions of switching. It's a top-tier software package.

Pros: This system is excellent for recording donations received; the fully integrated donation receipt system takes the strain out of chasing donations & inputting ones received by other means is very easy. Pulling reports is a joy; During tax receipt season, the customer support team are a dream to work with.

Cons: I don't have anything negative to say about this software

Overall: Very pleased & delighted with this system - I use it daily & it is easy to use

Pros: The customer support team is the best I've ever worked with - truly a no-judgement zone!
The process of transitioning from our old system to DP was amazingly simple.
It truly is user friendly.
I love that some of the updates and changes to the system come from user ideas and suggestions.
The integration between the main system and the Events module is great.

Cons: The reporting in some cases is not very intuitive.
The Quick Books integration does not work the way we use QB, that was a major disappointment.

Overall: Every person associated with DonorPerfect has been amazing to work with; beginning with the sales person to the person in charge of the migration...right down to the support group that answers my (sometimes) stupid questions. This was the easiest software transition I've ever lived through!

Pros: User-friendly, customization, economical, free webinars offered, search engine, generates tax receipts, generates donor reports

Cons: Generating reports is sometimes by trial and error due to figuring out the proper filters needed. It may just require more practice.

Overall: Overall, we are pleased with the product and it meets our needs.

Pros: The Database interface is intuitive and easy for and end-user to become custom to. The structure supports many layers of customized data fields, triggers and calculations.

Cons: Delivered Reports are ridged and cannot be adopted to include our various user created data fields. Core Features such as Events Management, Moves Management are not flexible in their design and reporting and do not allow imports to add/update all information.

Overall: It is a flexible database that can be adopted to most non-profits.
Customer Support is fantastic, questions are answered quickly and with a high level of excellence.

Pros: The Donor Perfect software is invaluable to our small non-profit organization. It allows us to easily keep track of our donor base, who has contributed what amount and what the donation was intended for.

Customized mailing lists are easily created with personalized letters and mailing labels.

If you have ANY problem, whether it's how to create a customized list or how to sort your results correctly the customer support is the best I've ever experienced. The are always helpful and polite. Once your problem is solved a follow up email stating the problem and the solution is emailed for later reference if needed.

Cons: Bit of a challenge to learn all the software can offer - but they offer webinars and additional community support which really is a positive

Overall: We would hard pressed to run our non-profit organization without the help of Donor Perfect. We use it for our annual mailing memberships and tracking where funds are being donated. It allows a historical review of donations by amount and date. Lists, letters and labels are all created to your exact specifications.

Pros: The amount of information is great. I am fairly new to the program, but what I have used is helpful.

Cons: It can be very overwhelming at first to figure out how to navigate.

Overall: Overall, with the right training, it is a great tool.

Pros: I use DonorPerfect everyday at work. I am able to tell my boss who our biggest donors are, who gave last year, but not this year, what do we have in pledges and in recievables.

Cons: I know there is so much more that DonorPerfect offers that I don't even use.

Overall: I've been using DonorPerfect for almost 4 years and they are constantly making improvements. I also like the videos that we are able to watch with simple instructions.

Pros: Donor Perfect is a great way to keep track of your donors. We are finding more ways to keep track of our donor information all in one place! We used to have multiple spreadsheets to keep track of things, now we only use Donor Perfect. The support team is also fantastic! They are always willing to help with the simplest of questions or the more difficult questions. They are patient and answer questions in ways I can understand.

Cons: I don't have anything I don't like about Donor Perfect.

Overall: I highly recommend Donor Perfect to anyone who is looking for a great donor software system.
