Pros: We have used Donor Perfect for many years and love the software. It is easy to learn and use, and manages the info we need for our day-to-day donor operations. There is a good amount of customization features to fit your needs. The support is fantastic, as well as the online learning tools and DP community outreach.

Cons: Our only issue is that we needed a more robust form builder for online giving and registrations, so we had to look elsewhere. However, we had some fairly high expectations so it was understandable. Other than that, we love Donor Perfect!

Overall: I highly recommend Donor Perfect, both for the beginner and more advanced users.

Pros: We have previously worked with two other donor management systems and neither were as user friendly as Donor Perfect. We love how easy it is to navigate through the site. We feel like we get an incredible value for what we pay.

Cons: Just like any new site, it can be a little overwhelming when you first start out. There are so many features that we don't even use, so that can be a little much. I am still trying to find out info about some areas I do not understand.

Overall: I would give this site a solid 8.5 out of 10. We absolutely love Donor Perfect!

Pros: I like the ease of entering information and the training site that is helpful with minor problems. I have received help many times by calling DP's phone number and am pleased to talk to a person instead of going through multiple numbers as in many companies.

Cons: I still have some difficulty pulling reports. Also I noticed when I pull the report for monthly giving it seems to pull all names that have ever been monthly givers even though they may not be current.

Overall: On a day to day basis, Donor Perfect is very user friendly and doesn't take long to be able to enter basic information.

Pros: DP is a very good product which has a lot of features for nonprofits. The Customer Service has been excellent when calling in with issues or for training.

Cons: There are a lot of features with DP so it can be a little overwhelming to learn and remember all of the parts.

Overall: Very happy with DP. Plan to take additional training so we can utilize more of it.

Pros: Getting used to the system was easy. They have great tutorials and webinars. Their support people are fantastic and very pleasant.

It is a system that has all the data points you would want with integrations for your website and for keeping in contact with people through Constant Contact. And it all updates to the donor's records.

We have worked with the system to include memberships and another level of engagement with people, especially people who have a special connection with our organization, such as our officiants. We can keep or add data points that are important to us and they are easy extracted using the reports module.

Cons: The only con is the integration with PaySafe (where and how you accept debit and credit payments) and reconciling with the bank. I hope they are working on a resolution for this because it is the one thing I have heard from others when attending conferences.

Overall: Donor Perfect is the software you need when fundraising.

Pros: The ease of Donor Perfect is what I like most. Everything you need to keep track of donations and contact donors is at your fingertips. Also, you have the option of getting just the information you need when requesting reports.

Cons: I have had the occasion of finding more than one entry for the same donor. It is easily corrected, but I wish a red flag had gone up before the double entry was made.

Overall: I like using this product and it has made record keeping easy.

Pros: I've been a user of Donor Perfect for several years...and it has never let me down. We keep track of all of our donors--every phone call, every interaction, and every GIFT that they give. All of our partner relations team love using it while they are on the road, as well, connecting with our partners. Donor Perfect has, and will, continue to meet our needs going forward!

Cons: Donor Perfect is "perfect" for all the needs of our organization.

Overall: I've recommended Donor Perfect to many of my peers over the years. I know it is a product that is user friendly, for any size organization, and outstanding support. It's a winner. And it helps me win every day!

Pros: The Donor Perfect fields easy to customize so we are able to capture the information we need. The support line is fabulous! They have walked me through changes and additions many times.

Cons: I wish the system worked with Mailchimp. We have had to add Constant Contact in order to track our email communication.

Overall: Our experience with Donor Perfect has been great. I compared a number of options before choosing DP and had worked with Raiser's Edge for years and really like how the system works in general and how we have been able to customize to make it work for us

Pros: DonorPerfect Online is an intuitive to learn how to navigate. I appreciate the degree to which we can customize fields, screens, and reports and being able to access real-time data on the health of our donor base, using key metrics. I used to have to rely on our direct mail vendor to do that kind of detailed analysis, and now I can access that info anytime to share with our board. I also really like the SmartActions, which have allowed me to automate a lot of tasks I used to have to remember to perform regularly (changing mail flags, creating contacts, etc.). Customer support has been superior.

Cons: It is pricier than our old system, but the cost is well worth it considering what we are able to do.

Overall: Overall, I highly recommend DonorPerfect to anyone looking for a versatile, well-supported donor database.

Pros: I like how easy it is to Chat with or call Support. And they are all very helpful with detailed steps on how to do whatever it is I need help with.

Cons: Would like more options to personalize some areas.

Overall: Would definitely recommend and have recommended to others.

Pros: DonorPerfect is built to manage data in the real world. It's very well thought-out--intuitive, logical, and reliable. It's incredibly easy to accommodate your organization's special requirements through adding and renaming fields, reorganizing your display, creating custom reports, flagging records. The documentation materials--both "official" and the online community--are genuinely helpful. Support is fast, responsive, and professional. The training is excellent--we did the webinar format, and it was an ideal experience.

Cons: Honestly, there's not much to dislike here. I've worked with donor databases for 20+ years, and this is hands-down the best product I've worked with.

Overall: I wholeheartedly recommend DonorPerfect. It's built by people who understand what it's like to operate a database in a real nonprofit environment. It's reliable--our experience has been as stable as our internet connection. The product continually keeps getting better in small ways. We've also been impressed with the honesty and professionalism of their business practices--not naming names, but our previous database provider was a very big name with very dodgy billing practices. With DonorPerfect, your quotes will be accurate. It's a great tool, supported by an outstanding staff.

Pros: I absolutely love the customer service. You immediately speak to a live person which is unheard of these days! The Staff is friendly and courteous and very helpful.

Cons: There are not too many things I don't like about this Donor data base

Overall: Working with the DP Staff is easy and efficient. Getting all our donors moved from our old software to DP was easy and painless.

Pros: Very Easy to train new employees to use DonorPerfect
Very useful in managing stewardship and communications with our donors
DonorPerfect helped us to be more efficient and effective in our relations with our donors

Cons: Limited flexibility choices in designing Donation Forms

Overall: It has been more than four years since we started using DonorPerfect. The Services we get has been outstanding and very responsive by the very professional employees of DonorPerfect. The System is so flexible that we can now identify our donors' desires and wants and be able to tailor different messages to different groups of donors.

Pros: Donor Perfect listens to its users - changing/adding/revising to make the system more logical and intuitive. Actively soliciting input from users is the best way to improve the product.

Customer Service has NEVER let me down!

Tips, pointers, webinars, etc., all help with new (and seasoned!) users.

Cons: After spending time with filters and reports, it becomes easier. A bit of a learning curve, but worth the effort.

Overall: New to Donor Perfect, but not development software, I'm satisfied with the product and how it works for our small non-profit.

Pros: I like how easy it is to create new donors and add donations to the system.

Cons: The only issue I have with the system is that is difficult to understand the report part of the system.

Overall: I am happy with the DonorPerfect System. It is easy to create new donors and update donations. I do not utilize other parts of the system because we use various other platforms. Thank you DonorPerfect for creating such a great system that works great for our nonprofit organization!

Pros: I like that it is relatively easy to enter donors & gifts, because I do this on a daily basis.

Cons: Donor gifts that are made electronically are not always recorded corrected, so must be checked to insure accuracy. Program is a bit costly for a small organization with a very small operating budget. Building reports is often complicated and clunky.

Overall: Overall, there are not a lot of programs out there that does what we need done, as far a keeping track of donors and donations, so Donor Perfect has served a useful purpose.

Pros: Easy donor acknowledgement, easy reporting, better management of our resources, helpful interfaces to Constant Contact and Quickbooks.

Cons: There are no cons! Nothing negative to say about Donor Perfect.

Overall: We are a non-profit dog rescue group. We were first attracted to Donor Perfect, because we wanted an easier way to acknowledge our donors. We were having to manually write letters to acknowledge well over 1,000 donations annually. But, Donor Perfect gave us so much more than that. Now, we can easily see how much money we have raised through our fundraisers, adoption fees, and merchandise sales. It helps us see where to put our efforts and resources and discontinue those that are not worth it. It helps us identify our biggest donors. I could go on and on about how much it has helped us. We now use the interfaces for Constant Contact to make our email marketing more effective and Quickbooks to make our bookkeeping easier. And, all of these benefits are achieved at a very reasonable price, which is very important to a non-profit charity. Can't say enough good things about Donor Perfect!

Pros: Simplicity to maintain and correct data. Ability to customize and create your own donation pages including crowd funding pages. Very economical for small non-profit. Get lots of functionality and bang for the bucks. Online knowledge base and documentation is superior to most software products I have used in the corporate world. Tech support is also very good.

Cons: Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing (it required me to put in 50 characters for this box).

Overall: I implemented DP for our non-profit in 2018. I manually combined data from multiple systems and databases and imported the data to do the initial set up. The tools provided and support to do your own implementation are awesome. We immediately implemented a peer to peer page. The additional functionality added this year to be able to post checks received offline to PTP page is a great enhancement.

Pros: DonorPerfect is continuously improving the product to enhance features and effect performance. We are pleased to call DonorPerfect a partner in our development success.

Cons: There doesn't seem to be much the software can't do.

Overall: Victory Mission utilizes this program with the same features of many of the higher priced programs. We appreciate the value!
